Presented by ARTS 14C, this public art program brings large-scale contemporary sculpture into the heart of the World Cup celebrations.

The Art of the Game features twenty-three internationally recognized artists, including Tomokazu Matsuyama, Katherine Bernhardt, Fred Wilson, Futura 2000, among many more, who reimagine one of the world’s most iconic symbols—the soccer ball—through monumental public artworks.

These six-foot sculptural forms are installed across New York City and New Jersey, transforming public spaces into open-air exhibitions and inviting residents and visitors to encounter contemporary art.
